About Amanda Watkins

Amanda Watkins: Luxury Travel Agent

Amanda Watkins is the owner of Amanda Watkins Travel, an independent affiliate of Brownell Travel, a Virtuoso agency. Amanda spent 13 years as an attorney before she turned her attention to detail, genuine love of working with others and passion for travel into a successful luxury travel business.

Amanda realizes that the time and money spent on travel are precious resources. As such, she strives to make each trip exceptional and stress-free. Amanda takes great care to learn about her clients, their expectations and their travel goals so that she can craft the perfect vacation experience.

In her typically resourceful nature, Amanda is constantly meeting with suppliers and hoteliers from around the globe so that she can remain well-connected to those who are able to bring her client’s dreams to life and provide memorable experiences that clients simply can’t get on their own.

Amanda was chosen to attend Tauck Academy. In doing so she joined the less than 1% of all travel advisors by gaining Tauck Certification. Tauck is a luxury operator that delivers enriching guided tours, small ship cruises, river cruises and family vacations across all seven continents. Particularly exciting are the relatively new Tauck Bridges tours that are beautifully designed for families and multigenerational vacations. The in-depth training Amanda received on the Tauck product line makes her uniquely qualified to counsel clients who are considering a Tauck vacation.

Some of Amanda's favorite travel experiences include a South Africa safari, exploring Alaska (by both water and land), the moving experience of standing on the Normandy beaches, relaxing in an over-water bungalow in Tahiti, family adventures in Costa Rica, ALL of Italy, traversing Croatia, drinking wine in Napa, dancing on the streets of Cartagena, Colombia and, most recently, exploring the unparalleled Galapagos Islands.

Amanda is passionate about making dreams a reality for her clients. Contact her directly to book a trip.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
