Rosewood Little Dix Bay - Virgin Gorda, BVI

IMG_1452.JPG

For over 50 years, Rosewood Little Dix Bay has been “the” place to be. In 1958, Laurance Rockefeller (grandson of Standard Oil founder John D. Rockefeller) purchased the 500 acres that makes up the half-mile crescent bay on the southwestern shore of Virgin Gorda. Rockefeller – a conservationist – opened the property as a resort in 1964 (then named “Wilderness Beach”) as part of his environmentally friendly hotel portfolio, Rockresorts. It immediately became the destination of choice for jetsetters looking to unplug. After a recent visit, AWT can say with certainly - its allure is just as strong today.

By booking with AWT, you not only get the benefit of our expertise and a seamless travel experience, you also receive:

·      Daily complimentary full American breakfast for two per room

·      $100 USD Food & Beverage credit

·      Complimentary wifi

·      Upgrade upon arrival (subject to availability)

AWT Suggets:

• Take advantage of the complimentary beach drops the resort offers. Picnic and snorkeling on secluded beach….yes, please!

• Rent a Mote (think fun open air small jeep) from the resort and spend a day exploring the island. Make sure to stop at Hog Heaven for a cocktail and the most INCREDIBLE views.

• Visit the Baths. Go right when they open to avoid crowds. Grab a burger at Mad Dog’s on your way out.
